Our Tung Oil is a 100% pure, natural product, made from the cold-pressed seeds of the Tung tree. This hard-drying oil penetrates deeply into the wood fibers, enhancing the natural beauty of the wood grain and creating a rich, matte finish. It protects wood from acid, water, and grease, while being zero-VOC and safe for food contact.

This versatile oil is great for a variety of applications, including flooring, furniture, decks, siding, concrete, stone, metal, and both interior and exterior surfaces. To apply, simply use rags until the surface is fully saturated, then wipe off any excess after 30 minutes. Allow 24 hours between coats, and typically 2-4 coats will deliver excellent results.

The coverage rate of our Tung Oil is impressive, with 16 oz covering up to 50 square feet per coat, 32 oz covering 100 square feet per coat, and 1 gallon covering 400 square feet per coat. For better penetration and faster drying, you can mix the Tung Oil with a citrus solvent or mineral spirit, but it should not be used over oil-based stains.

It's important to ensure that the temperature remains above freezing during and for at least 2 weeks after the application of the Tung Oil, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
